- Your experienced Egyptologist guide will meet you at your hotel in Cairo or Giza to begin your exciting tour of the Giza Pyramids, Saqqara, and Dahshur.
2. Visit the Dahshur Pyramids :
- Start the tour with the Bent Pyramid, notable for its unique slanted shape and the fact that it retains about 70% of its original casing material. Next, explore the Red Pyramid, the first true pyramid built as a tomb for King Snefru, although there is no evidence that he was buried there. Snefru built four pyramids in total. You will have the opportunity to enter both pyramids to witness their massive interiors.
3. Explore Saqqara Necropolis :
- Proceed to the Saqqara Necropolis to view the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, a monumental step in pyramid construction. This pyramid represents the evolution of mastaba tombs into the first complete pyramid structure, with a burial chamber beneath. Visit the Pyramid of King Teti and the tomb of Kagemni, a high official and vizier during the Sixth Dynasty.
